Where Flame Meets Story: The Heart Behind 'The Candle Chronicle'

Every story begins with a spark.
Ours began with a flicker- of flame, of memory, of imagination.

Welcome to The Candle Chronicle, a place where scent and story entwine, where each candle is more than wax and wick… it’s a page turned, a feeling captured, a chapter lit softly by golden light.

A Love Letter to Scent & Story

I’ve always believed that fragrance is a form of storytelling. A warm vanilla note can bring you home. A whisper of jasmine might remind you of a long-forgotten page in a beloved book. A single breath of cedarwood can carry you deep into an ancient forest, or perhaps a crumbling library filled with lore.

Every candle I create begins with a narrative, sometimes inspired by myths and literature, sometimes by quiet moments that deserve to be remembered. My hope is that when you light one, it does more than brighten a room. It stirs something inside you. It invites you to pause, to feel, to remember, to imagine.

Why The Candle Chronicle Exists

This space was born from the same love that sparked my candle studio: a deep, soul-rooted desire to create something that feels like magic.
Here in The Candle Chronicle, I’ll be sharing more than products. I’ll be sharing the stories behind the scents, glimpses into my creative process, and the quiet poetry of a life lit with intention.

Expect:

  • Behind-the-scenes peeks into new collections

  • Scent inspiration drawn from books, folklore, and nature

  • Candle care rituals and cozy seasonal musings

  • And maybe a few secrets hidden in the wax...

An Invitation

Whether you’re a fellow candle lover, a bibliophile, or simply someone who craves a slower, more thoughtful rhythm- you are welcome here. This is a place for the dreamers, the romantics, the memory-keepers, and the storytellers.

Thank you for being part of this beginning. I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s light the first chapter - together.

With warmth and wonder,
Desiree
