The lantern sputtered, its glow bending as the first drops of rain touched the flame’s glass. The air shifted, sharp and damp, threaded with the crisp bite of apples and the low hum of spice. She drew in a breath, and it tasted of storm, of sweetness, of something waiting to unravel.

He stepped closer, and with him came the scent of leather softened by musk and woods, grounding her even as the night threatened to sweep her away. His shoulder brushed hers as he adjusted the lantern, the touch deliberate, lingering. She swore she could hear the thrum of his pulse beneath the hush of the storm, steady yet trembling, like hers.

Rain stitched the cobblestones in silver threads, each drop pulling them further into their own small world. His gaze held hers- dark, searching, hungry in a way that made her shiver beneath her soaked scarf. Vanilla clung faintly to the air between them, warm against the cold rush of rain, the sweetness of it as intoxicating as his closeness.

And then he leaned in, not fully, just enough that his breath brushed her ear, carrying words so soft she could barely catch them. Whatever he whispered was swallowed by the rain, yet it didn’t matter. She felt it more than she heard it, the promise, the question, the pull.

The storm poured harder, blurring lantern light into a haze of gold and shadow, but she no longer cared. Every sound, every shape beyond him disappeared, until there was only the press of the rain, the heat of his nearness, and the dangerous truth hovering at the edge of a kiss.

- Store your wax melts in their original clamshells or containers to protect them from dust and fading. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as these can affect the wax quality and fragrance.

- Always store wax melts in a cool, dry area to maximize their longevity and scent retention. High temperatures can cause them to melt and lose their fragrance.

- Place 1-2 cubes of wax in a wax warmer—either electric or tea-light based. Ensure that the warmer is on a level, heat-resistant surface and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

- Do not leave the warmer on for more than 3-4 hours at a time. This helps prevent overheating and potential accidents.

- Always keep an eye on your wax warmer while in use. Do not leave it unattended, especially around children and pets.

- Avoid adding water to your wax warmer as it can cause the wax to splatter, creating a messy and dangerous situation.

- Allow the wax to cool before handling the warmer and use caution when changing the wax after melting to prevent burns or mess.
